Founded in 2008 Roo Records Music has been specialising in the publication of fun and educational pieces of music, written for the young and young at heart.
Writing music for individual instruments as well as ensembles of all shapes and sizes, Roo Records Music has been working hard to bridge the musical gap between pre and post grade 1 standard players with their educational titles. They have been recieved well by all who've played them and have been reviewed too!
'Orchestra Rocks'
‘It is a light-hearted piece and could well be many young musicians’ first experience of group playing. Obviously any rehearsal of this little number must begin with the conductor exclaiming, “orchestra, are you ready to rock, say yeah!”. Lively and fun, forget your baroque if the orchestra rocks.”
Specialising in woodwind and piano pieces, Roo Records Music has seen many premiers of its publications and is set to release many new titles later this year.
Since publishing many exciting pieces this year Roo Records Music are now writing many larger scaled pieces for chamber orchestra, woodwind quintets, brass bands as well as orchestras too.

have been a pupil of Rachael’s for the last three years, finally
realising my childhood dream of learning to play the piano. Rachael
wrote me a piece of piano music – Andante Tattoo – as a gift for my 30th
birthday last year to celebrate me having my very first tattoo!
In
the piece, Rachael has captured exactly the type of music I enjoy
playing. The key signature, the tone, the articulation - the whole
arrangement reflects the styles I have grown to love throughout my
lessons with Rachael. I have worked with Rachael to develop the dynamics
for this piece and this has really helped me develop as a musician.
